Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 1, 2026
Horizon Watch keeps browser storage to what is necessary to run the site securely. Optional analytics and advertising categories are denied unless you choose otherwise.
1. What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Horizon Watch Enterprise Inc. uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies — including localStorage and sessionStorage — on horizonwatchinc.com and horizonwatch.net. It should be read together with the Horizon Watch Privacy Policy.
2. Categories We Use
Horizon Watch groups browser storage into three categories. Only the necessary category is active by default.
- Necessary — required for the site to function. This includes your saved cookie preferences, sign-in storage for administrative users, and settings that remember how you were using the site. Our security-challenge provider, Cloudflare Turnstile, and payment provider, Stripe, may use provider-controlled storage to deliver their respective functions. Necessary storage cannot be switched off through Cookie preferences.
- Analytics — optional. Used for site usage, navigation, and performance measurement where enabled and where you consent. This category is denied by default.
- Advertising — optional. Used to measure whether an inquiry was completed after you arrived from one of our ads. It is not used for remarketing or personalized advertising. This category is denied by default.
3. Current Status
Where enabled, Horizon Watch may use Google Tag Manager as the mechanism for managing measurement tags. Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement are the services that may be loaded through it. No Google tag or container loads until you have consented to the corresponding category, and no cookieless pre-consent measurement signal is sent.
We use Basic Consent Mode: analytics measurement requires your analytics consent, and advertising conversion measurement requires your advertising consent. We do not use Advanced Consent Mode, remarketing, Enhanced Conversions, personalized advertising, session replay, or customer-list uploads.
Measurement of how visitors use or move through the site is treated as analytics and may occur only after analytics consent.
4. Your Choices
Use the Cookie preferences control available on every page to accept or decline optional categories. Your choice is saved in your browser as necessary first-party state; it is not a Google cookie or identifier. Reopen that control at any time to change or withdraw your choice.
After withdrawal takes effect, Horizon Watch stops sending new optional analytics events or advertising conversions and prevents optional tags from loading on subsequent page loads. A consent-denial update may be communicated to a provider tag that was already loaded solely to apply your changed choice; it is not an analytics event or advertising conversion. Withdrawal does not erase information already processed by a provider, does not retroactively invalidate that processing, and does not necessarily remove provider storage already present in your browser.
If you clear your browser storage, you also delete the saved Horizon Watch preference and the optional categories return to denied. You can separately block or delete provider storage using your browser settings. Blocking necessary or provider-controlled storage may affect the particular function that relies on it.
Declining or withdrawing optional categories never prevents you from browsing inventory, submitting a transactional inquiry, requesting information, using essential checkout functionality, or changing your choice later.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Horizon Watch treats it as a request to keep the Advertising category denied. While that signal is present, Advertising cannot be enabled through Cookie preferences. The signal does not enable or disable Analytics; you can control Analytics separately.
5. What Each Category Stores
Necessary — a first-party record of your cookie choice, stored in this browser until you clear it, together with the administrative sign-in and site-preference storage described above. Cloudflare Turnstile and Stripe may use provider-controlled storage when their respective functions are used.
Analytics — where enabled and where you consent, Google Analytics may use browser storage to measure site usage, navigation, and performance.
Advertising — where enabled and where you consent, Google Ads may use browser storage to measure whether an inquiry was completed after you arrived from one of our ads.
The exact names, configured durations, provider-retention behavior, withdrawal behavior, and any advertising click identifier will be confirmed by testing the actual tag configuration and published here before the applicable category is activated.
6. Third Parties That May Set Storage
Cloudflare Turnstile sets storage strictly to run the human-verification challenge on our forms. Stripe may set storage on payment pages to process a payment and to support fraud prevention. These are necessary to deliver the requested function and are described further in the Privacy Policy.
